Leicester City have announced the signing Yuki Abe after the Japan midfielder was granted a work permit. The 28-year-old's switch to the Walkers Stadium from Urawa Red Diamonds was sealed just hours before the close of the transfer window at 6pm on Tuesday in England. Abe, a free-kick specialist, has been capped 49 times by Japan and played in every match of his country's World Cup campaign this summer. "Leicester City have signed Japanese international Yuki Abe from Urawa Reds," read a statement on the Leicester's official website. Abe could make his debut in Leicester's first match after the international break at Coventry on 11th September.
