Zimbabwean extends Home Park deal

Onismor Bhasera has prolonged his association with Plymouth Argyle by penning a one-year contract extension. The talented Zimbabwean is now tied to the Home Park club until 2013. The Pilgrims have moved to retain the services of the 24-year-old after seeing him emerge as an integral member of the squad. Able to operate in various positions, including full-back and in midfield, Bhasera's versatility has convinced Plymouth boss Peter Reid that is a useful asset to have around.

Skilful

"He is a skilful player," Reid told the club's official website. "It's always pleasing to have a good player secured at the club. "It's good for the manager to have players that can play in different positions and he has done really well so far." Bhasera joined Plymouth from Kaizer Chiefs in March, following a protracted international clearance dispute, and made seven appearances for the Pilgrims towards the end of the 2009/10 campaign. He has figured in all four of Plymouth's fixtures so far this season - three in League One and one in the Carling Cup.
