Much-travelled striker Jamie Cureton has penned a permanent contract with Exeter City.

The experienced frontman linked up with the Grecians at the start of August on a non-contract basis.

Aiming to impress, he has figured in both of the club's opening League One fixtures of the new season.

He has now been rewarded with a full-time deal, which he committed to on Tuesday.

Cureton has a proven pedigree in the Football League, having scored over 200 times in a career spanning over 600 games.

The 34-year-old was released by Norwich City over the summer after a three-year spell back at Carrow Road, where he first set out as a professional back in 1993.
