Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is hoping to resume training with Arsene Wenger's side in six weeks' time.
The Denmark international, who played in this summer's World Cup finals, is still sidelined by a groin injury which has troubled him since last season.
Bendtner feels he is recovering well from the injury and has opted against seeing specialist Soren Malling after labelling him a 'self-publicist'.
Malling, who previously claimed that he could halve the striker's recovery time, believes losing his services could delay Bendtner's return.
However, the 22-year-old is disregarding the specialist's claims and believes he will return to action sooner rather than later.
"I do not wish to receive any further treatment from this self-publicist," he said in the Daily Telegraph.
"I am very happy with how my rehabilitation has been going under the Arsenal medical team and expect to be back in training in around six weeks' time."
