Striker Mario Gomez insists he will stay at Bayern Munich this season and attempt to reclaim his spot in the team.
The 25-year-old, who has reportedly attracted interest from Real Madrid and Marseille over the summer, is currently manager Louis van Gaal's fourth-choice striker at Bayern behind Miroslav Klose, Thomas Muller and Ivica Olic.
But despite being linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants, Gomez has vowed to remain at the Allianz Arena and fight for a regular role after playing just 15 minutes in Friday's season opener against Wolfsburg.
"I have made my position clear - there will be no transfer," Gomez told Bild newspaper.
"I want to convince the coach that he will soon field me in his starting XI.
"Hard work will be rewarded, I am sure about that."
Gomez linked up with Bayern from Stuttgart 12 months ago in a club-record €35million (£28.6m) deal.
He failed to establish himself as a regular starter last year, despite managing to score 10 goals for the German club.
The striker scored 24 times for Stuttgart during their 2008-09 campaign but is yet to rediscover that form since his arrival in Munich.
