Olympiakos are closing in on the capture of Villarreal's David Fuster after agreeing a fee with the Spanish outfit.
The club's Spanish tactician Ernesto Valverde knows all about the 28-year-old having worked with him at Villarreal.
The midfielder, who joined the club in 2004, had a decent campaign in his first senior season with the Liga outfit.
However, he has now been allowed to head for Greece and is expected to secure his transfer in the coming days.
Fuster will link up again with Valverde, who has already signed Spain international Albert Riera from Liverpool this summer.
The ambitious Greek club have also brought in Dennis Rommedahl, striker Marko Pantelic and Fuster's former Villarreal team-mate Ariel Ibagaza.
