Bristol City have agreed personal terms with Brett Pitman after finalising a deal with Bournemouth.
The free-scoring striker had looked primed to join newly-promoted Premier League side Blackpool, but the deal collapsed over personal terms.
As first revealed by skysports.com, the Robins wasted little time in agreeing an undisclosed fee with the Cherries for the striker.
The Championship outfit have now agreed personal terms for the 22-year-old marksman, who has scored 62 goals in 197 appearances for the South Coast outfit.
The deal will be completed upon the successful conclusion of a medical, which is scheduled for Monday.
