AC Milan have confirmed their interest in midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng, who was at Portsmouth last season.
The 23-year-old Ghana international has reportedly secured a move to Genoa, but it has not deterred Milan from chasing his signature, according to the Italian giants.
The Serie A outfit reported on their official website that Boateng was at the club's headquarters in Italy on Monday.
"Kevin Prince Boateng was present at Milanello today," said the report.
"The Ghana player is owned by Genoa and is waiting for an agreement between Milan and Genoa which will enable the player to train and play friendlies with the Rossoneri."
Portsmouth have yet to confirm Boateng's apparent switch to Milan's Serie A rivals Genoa.
