Nigeria striker Peter Odemwingie claims he is close to sealing a move to West Brom.
Baggies boss Roberto Di Matteo is believed to have lined up a move for the Lokomotiv Moscow hit-man as he looks to strengthen his attacking options.
Odemwingie has been linked with a move to England for some time and it appears the Baggies are ready to offer the 29-year-old the chance to try his luck in the Premier League.
The former Lille ace claims he has rejected overtures from Panathinaikos to make the move to The Hawthorns.
"Most likely I will join on Tuesday," said Odemwingie. "I've already signed a contract.
"They have been left to negotiate among themselves and then my dream of playing in the English Premier League will come true.
"I opted for West Brom because for a long time I've wanted to play in England. But I thank Panathinaikos for their interest. They are a big club."
