Blackpool new boy Marlon Harewood is relishing the prospect of helping the Premier League debutants' fight for survival.
Striker Harewood joined the Seasiders on Wednesday on a free transfer after it had appeared the move had broken down earlier this week.
The former West Ham and Nottingham Forest hit-man has signed a two-year deal at Bloomfield Road and he is delighted with the opportunity of playing under Ian Holloway.
"I am happy with the move to Blackpool and looking forward to playing in the Premier League again this season," Harewood told skysports.com.
"I was impressed with Ian Holloway and all the lads when I was training with them last week and I like the ideas Ian has for the team.
"We are underdogs this season as everyone is tipping us to go down, but I am hoping I can score the goals to help Blackpool stay up."
Harewood revealed he rejected other offers from at home and abroad to make the move to Blackpool.
"I had other offers to move somewhere else, but I feel Blackpool is the right move at this stage of my career and I am ready for the Premier League season," added Harewood.
