Hamburg have stressed that they have not received a bid for highly-rated winger Eljero Elia.
It was believed that Juventus and Wolfsburg had both lodged bids for the 23-year-old, who joined Hamburg last summer from FC Twente for £7.5million.
Ex-Twente coach Steve McClaren is keen to be reunited with his former winger at Wolfsburg, whilst Juve are also eager to land him.
But Hamburg insist that Elia, who impressed at this summer's World Cup finals for Holland, is staying put.
"We have not received any offer (from Juventus) for Eljero Elia," general manager Bastian Reinhardt told Bild.
"It was in the course of our July friendly against Juventus when the officials from Juventus enquired about the player.
"Still we have not received anything concrete afterwards.
"Eljero Elia is under contract at our club and we also have not received a bid for him from Wolfsburg!"
