Skysports.com can confirm that West Ham United have agreed a deal for New Zealand's World Cup ace Winston Reid.
The FC Midtjylland stopper made a huge impression during the finals in South Africa and West Ham have seemingly won the race to land him.
The 22-year-old is set to discuss personal terms with the East London club, who hope to have finalised his signature by the weekend.
West Ham are believed to have agreed to pay the Danish club around £4million for Reid, who moved to Denmark as a young child and has spent his entire career with Midtjylland.
Hammers boss Avram Grant has been working hard to re-jig his squad since taking charge in the summer.
So far he has brought in four new faces, but he could be looking for double that number before the end of the transfer window in August.
