Harewood and Ball are both free agents and are looking for new clubs ahead of the new season.

Ball has been without a club since leaving Manchester City last July, while Harewood left Aston Villa earlier this summer following the expiration of his contract.

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway has invited the experienced pair to link up with the Premier League new boys so he can cast an eye over them in training.

The duo are believed to have trained with the Blackpool squad for the last two days as they look to try and secure deals at Bloomfield Road.

Holloway is desperate to bolster his squad before the big kick-off on 14th August and if they impress they could win moves to the Premier League newcomers.
