Chelsea midfielder Yossi Benayoun claims he could not turn down a move to one of the "greatest clubs in Europe" after making his switch to Stamford Bridge from Liverpool.
The Israel international completed a £5.5million move earlier this summer, ending a three-year stay at Anfield, where he scored 18 goals in his 92 appearances.
His form on Merseyside attracted the attention of Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti and once Benayoun knew of Chelsea's interest, he was left in no doubt as to where his future lay.
"It is one of the greatest clubs in Europe and when I had the chance to come it is the first thing I wanted to do," the 30-year-old told Sky Sports News.
"I had a few offers, but as soon as I had interest from Chelsea there was only one thing that would happen."
Benayoun's start to his Chelsea career has been hindered by a groin injury picked up in the early part of pre-season, but he insists he has not had a problem settling into life in West London.
"I pulled my groin so I rested for a week. I only came back training the other day, but I will be fit for the start," he added.
"I feel very good, from the first moment they gave me a great feeling and I am enjoying every day and getting closer to everyone.
"I am sure I will have a great time here and be successful."
