Swansea City have handed former Charlton Athletic full-back Yassin Moutaouakil the opportunity to earn a contract.
Moutaouakil saw his contract at Charlton cancelled by mutual consent earlier in the summer after making just 29 appearances in three years at The Valley.
He failed to feature under Phil Parkinson last season and spent the first half of the campaign on loan in the SPL with Motherwell.
The 24-year-old is now training with Swansea and is expected to feature in the Championship club's friendly against Haverfordwest on Tuesday.
If Moutaouakil impresses Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers, he could be viewed as a replacement for Angel Rangel, who is wanted by Premier League new-boys Blackpool.
