FC Twente midfielder Theo Janssen is hoping to agree a new deal with the Eredivisie champions on Wednesday.
Janssen, who turned 29 on Tuesday, is in talks with the board of the Enschede club to extend his existing contract.
The midfielder, who joined Twente from Vitesse two years ago, is currently contracted with the outfit until 2012.
"If my current contract runs until 2012, this (new contract) will probably be my last so it should be good," Janssen told NUsport on Tuesday night.
"I expect we will get an outcome tomorrow."
