Notts County have signed goalkeeper David Grof and defender Krystian Pearce on one-year deals.
Both players impressed new manager Craig Short while on trial during the club's pre-season tour of Austria.
Hungarian keeper Grof was released by Hibernian recently, with the 21-year-old having trials at Tamworth and Gillingham before agreeing terms with the Magpies.
Former Birmingham defender Pearce spent the end of last season on loan at Huddersfield, but failed to impress and was not offered a contract.
The 20-year-old former England Under-19 international was on loan at County during the 2007-08 season, making eight appearances and scoring one goal for the club.
