Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is expecting more from striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake this season.
The 24-year-old was prolific in the Championship for the Molineux club but was unable to maintain his form in the top flight.
Ebanks-Blake mustered just two Premier League goals last term and McCarthy admits the campaign was something of a let down.
However, McCarthy has been pleased by the striker's application in pre-season training and believes an in-form Ebanks-Blake can only be good for competition.
"Sylvan has come back this summer looking very sharp and very fit," said McCarthy.
"He's working hard at it and he knows that, by his own standards, last season was a poor one.
"He looks like he wants to rectify that, which is great for me.
"It means we've got great competition in there and it's a nice problem for me to have."
