Skysports.com understands that Burnley have agreed a fee with Sheffield Wednesday for goalkeeper Lee Grant.
The Clarets have been persistent in their efforts to sign the 27-year-old, with Wednesday rejecting three offers.
Speaking after Burnley's most recent attempt to bring him in, Owls boss Alan Irvine said the bid fell short of their valuation.
Burnley are now thought to have finally had an offer accepted by the League One club, who were issued with a winding-up order by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs on Friday.
Grant is now poised to make the move to Turf Moor on a three-year deal and will head for talks and a medical over the next couple of days.
