Arsenal defender Johan Djourou is feeling fit and raring to go after his injury nightmare last term.
The Switzerland international missed almost all of last season after undergoing knee surgery, making just a single substitute appearance against Fulham in the final league game in May.
But the 23-year-old continues his rehabilitation back to full fitness in a friendly against Sturm Graz in Austria on Wednesday and he is full of confidence for the season ahead.
Djourou told the Daily Telegraph: "The knee is good.
"This season is a new start for me.
"I had a hard season last time and new I feel good, I feel fresh, so I am ready to go."
