New Liverpool signing Joe Cole has arrived in Switzerland for a medical after agreeing terms on a four-year deal.
The 28-year-old has met with manager Roy Hodgson at the club's training base and will now prepare to complete his move to the Reds.
England international Cole arrived in Switzerland by plane at 19.45 local time before taking the 30-minute journey to Bad Ragaz to meet his new team-mates.
Liverpool confirmed that they had reached an agreement with Cole earlier on Monday and said that a medical was due to take place within 48 hours.
Former Chelsea player Cole became a free agent at the beginning of July after his contract expired at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester United, AC Milan and Valencia were all linked with the ex-West Ham man, but Liverpool were prepared to complete a deal.
Reports have suggested that Cole's four-year contract will be worth £90,000 a week and that other clubs were unwilling to offer a similar terms.
