Charlton Athletic have completed the free transfer signing of former Sheffield United winger Kyel Reid.
The 22-year-old was on the lookout for a new club after being released by The Blades at the end of the season.
Reid spent time on loan with Charlton last season and impressed manager Phil Parkinson enough to win a permanent stay at the Valley.
After losing Lloyd Sam this summer to Leeds, Parkinson has swooped to fill the void by landing Reid, as first revealed by skysports.com on Friday.
Delighted
"We're delighted Kyel has agreed to join us," Parkinson told the club's official website.
"We've been working on the transfer throughout the summer and it's great to get it done. He's an out-and-out winger and it's an important signing.
"Kyel did well when he was with us last season and I also believe he's the type of player who will benefit from a good run of games.
"I know he also had offers from Championship clubs, so I know he's ready for the challenge."
