Skysports.com understands Danny Swailes has signed a new contract at Stockport.
Swailes' previous deal at Edgeley Park expired at the end of last season after he signed a short-term contract upon his arrival from MK Dons.
The 31-year-old impressed at Stockport despite their relegation from League One, making 20 appearances for the Hatters.
Stockport were keen to keep hold of the former Bury man, but Swailes found himself in limbo due to the club's ownership issues.
However, with the club's ownership now resolved and Paul Simpson in place at Edgeley Park, the club have offered Swailes a new one-year deal.
