Clark expecting Carey to have an impact in League One

Huddersfield Town have snapped up Celtic youngster Graham Carey on a loan deal until January. Carey signed a new contract at Celtic earlier in the summer after spending three months on loan at fellow SPL club St Mirren last season. He has now been allowed out to gain further first-team experience and will spend the opening half of the season on loan in League One with Huddersfield. The 21-year-old can play at left-back or in midfield and Terriers boss Lee Clark is expecting Carey to make a significant impact at the Galpharm Stadium. "Graham will bring brilliant versatility to the squad - he can play anywhere up the left side of the pitch," Clark told the club's official website. "He played most of his games for St Mirren at left back, but can also naturally play on the wing. "He has a terrific left foot and he looks as elegant as you would expect from a quality left-footed player. "He should play a massive part for us this season and the fact that he has just signed a new deal at Celtic shows how high their hopes are for him."
