Young Germany star Thomas Muller admits he is stunned to have won the World Cup Golden Boot.
The 20-year-old forward, who only debuted for the Germans in March, netted five goals in South Africa to land the prestigious prize.
The same amount of goals were also scored by David Villa, Wesley Sneijder and Diego Forlan, but Bayern Munich man Muller's three assists saw him beat the trio to the award.
"This is just incredible for a newcomer to the World Cup," Muller told Bayern's official website.
"If anyone had told me I'd end on eight scorer points, I'd have said they were kidding me."
While delighted with his success, Muller, who also won the Best Young Player award, concedes he was disappointed to miss out on the greatest prize of the tournament.
He added: "It's an honour of course, but at the end of the day, I'd rather have had the World Cup itself."
