Crystal Palace have handed a trial to forward Dean Morgan, skysports.com understands.
The 26-year-old is a free agent after leaving Milton Keynes Dons at the end of last season.
Morgan is being chased by a number of clubs, but he is trying to win a move back to the Championship and is looking to impress George Burley.
Morgan, whose former clubs include Reading, Colchester and Luton, finished last season in League Two on loan at Aldershot Town, where he impressed with four goals in nine games.
