Former Hull City midfielder Bernard Mendy is holding talks over a move to Greek club PAOK Thessaloniki.
Mendy is available on a free transfer after leaving the KC Stadium at the end of last season following Hull's relegation from the Premier League.
The Frenchman, who can also play at right-back, has been earmarked as a key signing for PAOK this summer by coach Mario Berreta.
According to reports in Greece, PAOK's technical director Zisis Vrysas is trying to persuade Mendy to join the club.
A three-year contract is understood to be on the table for Mendy as PAOK bid to strengthen their squad after qualifying for the UEFA Champions League.
