Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has dismissed reports linking him with a move for Bordeaux midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.
The Gunners chief says he already has the ammunition he needs in midfield and has poured cold water on any suggested move.
Wenger is an admirer of the French international, but he feels he does not need Gourcuff in his squad.
"We are not interested [in Gourcuff] and we were never contacted," Wenger told Telefoot.
"He's a player I like a lot, but we are sufficiently covered in midfield."
