Germany ace Miroslav Klose has rejected mounting speculation he could join Russian outfit Rubin Kazan this summer.
It had been reported Rubin manager Qurban Berdiyev was keen to land the Polish-born star to replace Alexander Bukharov, who has been linked with Zenit St Petersburg.
Klose, who has illuminated the World Cup finals this summer, is being connected to Rubin along with Fabio Quagliarella and Antonio di Natale.
When quizzed on whether a move to the Tatarstan republic, Klose offered the club little hope he could be tempted to move to Russia.
He told Deutsche Presseagentur: "I'm a Bayern Munich player and I've no intention of joining that club. I'm fine thanks."
