Rosenborg have rejected a second offer from Real Sociedad for defender Vadim Demidov.
The 23-year-old Norway international currently has six months left on his current deal with champions Rosenborg and is eyeing a move to the newly-promoted Primera Liga outfit as soon as possible.
However, the Norwegians are reportedly demanding one million euros for the defender.
"It's an exciting club, which might suit me," Demidov told Adresseavisen.
"A club who wants me will hopefully give me confidence and a newcomer in La Liga will be a good step in my development."
Demidov's advisor Sergej Demidov said: "We have to wait until the two clubs reach an agreement.
The youngster is prepared to wait until his current contract expires if the clubs fail to agree a deal.
"It's not a problem," added Demidov. "Vadim is ready to take up the challenge even during the season."
