Portsmouth ace Nadir Belhadj admits he is still unsure of his club future, but concedes it will be away from Fratton Park.
The versatile full-back is now enjoying his holidays after featuring in Algeria's failed World Cup campaign.
While he admits his club career with Portsmouth is now over after the South Coast outfit suffered relegation from the Premier League last term, he is unsure where he will be plying his trade next season.
Serie A outfit Lazio have been linked to the player but Belhadj says the situation with the club has not yet progressed, although he would be interested by a move to Italy.
The African ace told tuttomercatoweb: "At this time, after the World Cup, I'm enjoying the holidays.
"My agent is dealing with my situation and for the moment he has told me nothing new.
"I know of the interest from Lazio but I cannot say to what extent there are any negotiations.
"Would I move to Lazio? Sure, we are talking of a major club which plays in a high championship with many competitive teams.
"Let's see if the deal will go well, but certainly my experience at Portsmouth is over."
