Bundesliga rivals move for Stuttgart schemer

Stuttgart defender Serdar Tasci has confirmed Hamburg have made an enquiry for his services. The Germany performer has been attracting interest whilst on international duty at the World Cup, with the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus linked with a move for the highly-rated defender. Tasci, who has yet to feature in the South Africa finals, is under contract until June 2014 with the Bundesliga giants on a deal which is thought to include a buy-out clause of £18.5million. But that seems to have undeterred Hamburg boss Armin Veh, who is keen on bringing the shot-stopper to the Nordbank Arena after playing a significant role in his development. Veh nurtured the 23-year-old to senior level during his spell at Stuttgart and Tasci admits he feels indebted to the German tactician for the role he has played in his career.

Indebted

"Hamburger SV went up to my agent, that is true," Tasci told Stuttgarter Nachrichten. "Armin Veh took me to the professional squad of Stuttgart when I was playing for the reserves. "It was him that made me become a Germany international." But Tasci insists he is enjoying his football at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. "I am still feeling great being a player of Stuttgart, I am under contract there," added the centre-back. Despite this, Stuttgart boss Christian Gross believes Tasci could leave Die Roten this summer, although the former Spurs manager claims the promising centre-half will only depart with his blessing. Gross said: "I think that Serdar Tasci would be willing to try to grab his chance playing for a really big club. "Anyway, it would still be us to decide if any such transfer would be going through."
Osorio
One player Gross is prepared to let go is Mexican international Ricardo Osorio, who could be heading to Cologne. Kon Schramm, the player's agent, confirmed the Bundesliga outfit are interested in the Stuttgart defender, who will be allowed to leave on a Bosman at the end of the week. Schramm told kicker-Sportmagazin: "Ricardo Osorio is out of contract and a Bosman signature, he would like to stay in the Bundesliga. "FC Köln has enquired about his availability just as other clubs have done recently, this is what I am able to confirm. Anyway, there is nothing concrete yet."
