Shrewsbury defender Kelvin Langmead has switched to Peterborough for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has signed a three-year deal at London Road as Gary Johnson's side attempt to bounce back to the Championship at the first attempt.
After making more than 250 appearances for the Shrews, Langmead is relishing the opportunity of proving himself in League One.
He said: "I am looking forward to the challenge, I am eager to learn and this is a great move for me.
"I am under no illusions that I am going to walk straight into the side.
"I have played most of my football in League Two and am well aware that I need to work extremely hard, but I am prepared for that."
