Aldershot defender Dave Winfield has agreed a two-year contract to be reunited with former manager Gary Waddock at Wycombe Wanderers.
Winfield excelled under Waddock as the Shots secured their Football League status in 2007/08 and has now agreed to play under the Wycombe boss again.
The 22-year-old made 27 appearances for the Shots last season and had been offered a contract to stay with Kevin Dillon's side.
However, he has snubbed that deal in favour of a move to Wycombe, although Aldershot will be entitled to compensation.
Waddock told his club's official website: "I'm delighted to get Dave in. He's a big, strong centre-half with an excellent attitude and willingness to listen and learn.
"He's extremely professional and always conducts himself superbly on and off the pitch. I'm looking forward to working with him again."
