Brentford have confirmed that Carl Cort has signed a new one-year contract with the club.
The 32-year-old joined Brentford last year and enjoyed a good season bagging seven goals in 30 games.
He has now agreed to extend his stay with the club and manager Andy Scott is delighted the former Newcastle and Wimbledon man will be with them next term.
"Carl was a real benefit to us last year and whilst he might not have started all games he certainly gave me an option to change things for particular games," said Scott.
"If we are to continue to drive the club forwards we are going to need both his experience and ability and I am delighted he has decided to commit himself to the club for a further season."
