Carlisle United have followed up the capture of Craig Curran by bringing Jason Price back to the club on a one-year contract.
Price finished last season on loan at Brunton Park from Millwall and he scored four goals in nine appearances for the Cumbrians.
The striker has subsequently been released by Millwall following their promotion to the Championship and has opted to return to Carlisle.
The 33-year-old, who only joined the Lions 12 months ago, is looking forward to the opportunity to build on the impact he made during his loan spell with Greg Abbott's side.
"It's great to get the move sorted before pre-season training starts and I can't wait for the season to start now," Price told the club's official website.
"I really enjoyed my time here last season so I didn't take much convincing. I enjoy the way the manager works and I linked up well with Gary Madine last season.
"Hopefully I can pass on a bit of my experience on to him and the other young forwards at the club next season."
Abbott, who had earlier signed Curran from Tranmere, said: "We've got a few young forwards at the club already so getting Jason on board brings us a bit of experience that those players can learn from.
"His record during his loan spell last season was excellent and Gary Madine certainly benefited from playing alongside him. His record at this level is very good and hopefully he can continue that with us next season."
