Australia goalkeeper Adam Federici has voiced his desire to improve his current contract at Reading when he returns from the World Cup in South Africa.
The 25-year-old, who started every league game for the Royals last season, is currently on international duty with the Socceroos in what is his first World Cup campaign.
Federici was one of Reading's star men last term, and has now expressed his desire to negotiate a new deal at the Championship club.
"It's no secret that I want to be playing week-in-week out and I feel as if I'm improving all the time with every game I play for Reading," he told the Bracknell Forest Standard.
"I would love to sit down with the club when I get back from South Africa and talk about a new deal.
"I'll be as fired up for the new season as anyone coming into pre-season on the back of being involved in a World Cup."
