Sulley Muntari has set his sights on Ghana reaching the final four of the World Cup in South Africa this summer.
Ghana take on Serbia in Sunday's opener before facing Australia on 19th June and Germany on 23rd June in Group D of the tournament.
And Inter Milan midfielder Muntari, who has been struggling with a left thigh injury, is confident the Black Stars can top the last-16 finish they managed on their World Cup finals debut in Germany four years ago.
"After what we did in 2006, expectations are sky high," Muntari told Inter's official website.
"We want to get out of our group and get to the semi-finals or even further.
"Germany are the group favourites and so it will doubtless come down to Serbia - we don't know quite what to expect against them, but we know they are a good team. Our goal is to produce good football."
