Burton manager Paul Peschisolido has admitted an interest in keepers Adam Legzdins and Jonny Tuffey.

Legzdins and Tuffey among the options being considered by Burton

Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido has admitted an interest in Adam Legzdins and Jonny Tuffey as he searches for a new goalkeeper. With only veteran Kevin Poole on their books, Albion need to recruit a keeper after failing to sign Artur Krysiak, who spent most of last season on loan at the Pirelli Stadium from Birmingham but chose to sign for Exeter after being given a free transfer. Peschisolido has been strongly linked with a move for Legzdins following his release by League Two rivals Crewe, while Tuffey revealed this week that his agent had been contacted by the Canadian. Peschisolido told the Burton Mail: "Nothing is by any means signed and sealed as far as a new keeper is concerned. "We are speaking to various players and their agents and I can confirm that we have shown an interest in both Adam Legzdins and Jonny Tuffey, but that is as far as it has gone at the moment. "The fact we have been linked with a couple of names already shows there are players out there. "I don't anticipate any problems in signing a keeper to replace Artur, but at the moment it is a case of weighing up our options and taking it from there."
