Swedish star tipped for summer switch

Skysports.com understands Swedish forward Marcus Olsson is attracting mounting interest from England. The 21-year-old is currently on the books of Halmstads in his homeland, where he has been a first-team regular for the past two years. A number of mature performances have brought him to the attention of clubs outside of Scandinavia, with it widely expected that he will be on the move this summer. A switch to England appears to be the most likely option, with his twin brother Martin already plying his trade at Blackburn Rovers. Marcus is hoping to tread a similar path in the near future, but for now the Premier League may be a step too far. He could, however, be drafted in by a Championship club, with Bristol City and newly-promoted Leeds United reported to be interested. It is understood that a bid of around £600,000 would be enough to tempt Halmstads into a sale.
