Steven Pienaar's agent has urged Everton to resolve negotiations over a new contract before the World Cup.
The South African midfielder is currently preparing for this summer's global tournament in his home country and wants his club future sorted.
He revealed earlier this week he is still not close to agreeing an extension at Goodison Park, with his current deal set to expire next year.
A number of clubs such as Tottenham, Manchester United and Liverpool have been linked with Piennar and his representative Ivan Modia is 'aware of interest'.
Modia maintains that his client would like to stay with Everton but might have to look elsewhere if the current uncertainty rumbles on.
"We recently had a couple of meetings with Everton, we got to agreements on some aspects of the contract but we are still far on some other aspects about the valuation of the player," the agent told Sky Sports News.
"At the moment it is up to them but it is very unlikely we can find a solution before the World Cup.
"He is very loyal to the club and it is up to what Everton want to do.
"To be honest he is really looking forward and hopes they can agree before the World Cup. If nothing happens before the World Cup with Everton we may have to consider other options.
"I am aware of the interest of some big clubs."
