Goran Pandev is hoping Jose Mourinho will not leave Inter Milan following the club's UEFA Champions League final success over Bayern Munich.
Diego Milito scored an excellent goal in each half to seal a 2-0 win for Inter in Madrid to complete a stunning trophy treble on the back of glory in Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
However, the match has widely been predicted to be Mourinho's last in charge of Inter amid reports he will take over as Real Madrid coach next season.
Pandev, who was signed for Inter by Mourinho in January, expressed his delight at winning the Champions League and his hope that his coach will stay.
"I don't know about Mourinho," Pandev told Sky Italia. "I hope he won't leave."
Reflecting on his successes since joining Inter, the forward added: "Certainly, it's a dream. I'm really happy.
"I must thank everyone because when I arrived at Inter everyone helped me. It's a big satisfaction to have this win after 45 years.
"I had a bad period in the last six months I was at Lazio, but then I arrived here and I'm absolutely happy."
Cristian Chivu, who suffered a fractured skull back in January, believes Inter's victory over Bayern in the Santiago Bernabeu was a triumph for teamwork.
"This is the result of a year-long job in which we showed character in difficult moments," said Chivu.
"We understood that it is possible to win by being a team. We also understood what was necessary - luck and everything.
"For me it's a really big happiness because after the head injury I didn't know if I would be able to come back and play."
