Charlie Adam is hoping to cap a fairytale season by helping to guide Blackpool into the Premier League.
The Scot is set to skipper the Seasiders in their Championship play-off final clash with Cardiff City at Wembley on Saturday.
The 24-year-old has played a major role in helping Ian Holloway's side to the home of English football, with his 18 goals from midfield proving invaluable.
His fine form has seen him rightly showered with praise throughout the campaign, with his decision to move to Bloomfield Road now more than justified.
Some may have questioned his decision to pass up UEFA Champions League football when he decided to leave Rangers last summer, but Adam insists he was right to seek a new challenge.
Having found first-team football hard to come by at Ibrox, the talented playmaker believes a switch to Blackpool has helped to turn his career around and set him on the path to the promised land.

"The manager (Holloway) told me he would give me the opportunity to play and over the last year or 18 months I never had that opportunity," Adam said in the
Daily Star.
"That's just what happens in football and I have no gripe with Rangers.
"I hope I've repaid some of the faith of the manager and to play in the best league in the world would be amazing.
"Rangers prepared me for big matches like this and I've become a more consistent player with the amount of games I've played.
"To get that opportunity of going to Anfield and Old Trafford would be fantastic.
"I know some of the Cardiff lads from Scotland and now I've got to get a kick at some of them!"
