Skysports.com understands that Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen is set to sign a new contract with the club.
The Danish goalkeeper has been at Turf Moor since joining from West Brom in 2003.
He played a key role in helping the Clarets win promotion to the Premier League and produced a series of impressive displays in an ultimately unsuccessful season in the top flight.
His current deal expires later in the summer but manager Brian Laws has already started thinking about which players he would like to retain following relegation back to the Championship.
Jensen has been offered the chance to stay and it is now understood that he has agreed terms on a two-year contract.
All that remains is for him to put pen to paper and follow in the footsteps of other key players like Graham Alexander and Clarke Carlisle, who committed their futures to Burnley earlier this week.
