Gianluigi Buffon has hinted he could leave Juventus this summer after a disappointing season.

The Italy international has been linked with a move to England with Manchester United and Arsenal both credited with an interest in the experienced shot-stopper.

Juve have endured a miserable season this term finishing in seventh spot and missing out on next season's UEFA Champions League and Buffon admits he has been shocked by his side's showings this season.

Asked if he had played his last game for Juventus, Buffon told Sky Italia: "I don't know.

"This is something we don't know and cannot say right now, so there's no point talking about it."

And asked about a move to England and Manchester, Buffon added : "I really don't know. That's a discussion that has nothing to do with the problems we've had this year.

"I'm hurting because I never expected to reach the last game of the season with nothing to play for."
