Walsall midfielder Manny Smith has penned a new two-year deal with the League One club.
The 22-year-old has become a key figure in the first team this season and netted a late winner as the Saddlers came from behind to claim a 2-1 win over MK Dons on the final day of the campaign.
Saddlers manager Chris Hutchings was delighted to keep hold of the promising midfielder.
"We've been speaking to Manny for a while now and I'm delighted to have him on board," Hutchings told the club's official website.
"He's a good prospect and I'm looking forward to working with him again next season."
Smith added: "I'm really pleased to have signed a new contract. I'm committed to this football club and am just pleased to have my future sorted out. The aim now is to continue to push on and help take the club forward."
New contracts have also been offered to Mark Hughes, Alex Nicholls, Richard Taundry, Darryl Westlake, Jamie Vincent, Rene Gilmartin, Will Grigg and Julian Gray. But the Saddlers will not be offering new deals to Netan Sansara, Dwayne Mattis, Peter Till, Josh O'Keefe, Mark Bradley, Sam Adkins and Richard Davies.
