Luis Boa Morte has confirmed he is set to leave West Ham this summer when his current deal expires.

The Portugal international, who scored in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the final game of the campaign, is out of contract in the summer.

Boa Morte made his first league appearance of the season at the weekend after a serious knee injury and he was delighted to end his stay at Upton Park with a goal.

"It was a good experience to get a good reception. This was my last game as well, so thanks to everyone," Boa Morte told the club's official website.

"I have had some hard times with the West Ham supporters but that's just football. I kept working and never turned my face away - that's the way to be in football, and I'm happy to be like that."
