Kasper Schmeichel has admitted he is flattered to be linked with a move to German giants Bayern Munich.
The Notts County goalkeeper has been told he can leave Meadow Lane for free this summer after helping them to the League Two title.
Schmeichel still has four years remaining on a big-money contract which County do not feel is viable so they are willing to let him go for nothing.
Now a host of Premier League clubs are being linked with his services, together with clubs on the continent like Bayern.
"Munich are a great team and it is an honour to be linked with them," said Schmeichel.
Schmeichel's agent Mads Frederiksen insists that as yet no talks are under way.
"It is obviously a great honour for him to be associated with Bayern Munich, but there is nothing on it - we have nothing concrete from any clubs," he told TV2 Sport.
"We are not ruling anything out, we are just working on some opportunities."
