Barnsley have confirmed the capture of winger Jim O'Brien whilst also confirming Daniel Bogdanovic's departure.
Former Celtic winger O'Brien has been chased by a number of clubs, but Barnsley have won the race to land him.
22-year-old O'Brien was out-of-contract at Fir Park and he has now signed a pre-contract with the Tykes.
Whilst confirming O'Brien's arrival - Barnsley have told Daniel Bogdanovic they will not be offering him terms again.
The South Yorkshire club say the Maltese star has rejected their initial offer whilst considering his options - but they are no longer willing to wait.
"We will not be playing second fiddle to any club when it comes to signing players," manager Mark Robins said.
"We want players here who want to play for Barnsley and give 100 per cent commitment.
"We don't want to have a situation where we become a fall back option whilst players look at other clubs."
