Oldham Athletic starlet Tom Eaves has committed his future to the club by signing a five-year contract.
The teenager's long-term prospects with the League One outfit looked bleak after he stalled over their two-year offer.
However, with longer terms on the table the talented striker has put pen-to-paper on a lengthy Boundary Park deal.
Eaves insists his decision had nothing to do with the money offer but long-term security for his career.
"I am happy to have signed the contract and can't wait for pre-season to start," he told the club's official website.
"I am delighted the club has had the confidence to give me a five-year contract and I will be looking to progress further."
